An A-B is no longer a part of the film it came from. It is a new film. The A-B needs to be framed and received out of context, because it is out of context. It creates its own context.
Having said that, some movies are so asinine that they brim with A-B potential. Check this shit out:
1. Face/Off. Yeah, a shocker. A blind man could smell the A-Bs coming at him.
2. Dumb and Dumber. Jeff Daniels actually holds his own in this A-B Road of comedies against Jim Carrey, the Clown Prince of A-Bs.
3. The Robert Zemeckis oeuvre, including Death Becomes Her, Forrest Gump, Contact and Cast Away. This guy may well be the Village Dunce.
4. Clean and Sober and Lean On Me. Morgan Freeman, you point the way.
5. I Am Sam. There would be no Rock Tard: Special Edition without it.
6. Awakenings, Radio, Nell. Now you're gonna say we're laughing offensively at the mentally handicapped. Stop it. There is nothing inherently funny about a mentally handicapped person. There is something very funny ABout actors who are acting more retarded than they actually do in real life. Funny First. If you don't subscribe to this ABsolute, go back on Facebook where you belong. Oh, and What ABout Bob!
